Being a regular exerciser doesn’t make you any friends among non-exercisers. I totally get it. I get the same feeling when I don’t compost around composters or when I eat bacon around vegans or others who are just more conscious globally. My sister-in-law recycles plastic forks, zip lock bags, wrapping paper, and eschews Tupperware. Tupperware! My self-esteem suffers greatly in her presence. It appears I care not for Mother Earth. I am Exxon Valdez, BP, Strip Mining.

February 25th, 2011Writing is Messy
February 25th, 2011My daughters were five and seven when I started the novel in 2006. Life is/was busy; my job, family, everyone’s overwhelming needs. They take a lot of maintenance those children. Apparently you have to feed them on a regular schedule or the court gets involved (*kidding).

There by the Grace of God Go I (and You)
December 30th, 2010I am so often asked what inspired me to write On Maggie’s Watch; a story of a woman so overcome by fear and possibility that she ventures out and takes matters into her own, often silly, hands.
